The Mothers and Infants Recovery Network helps women with infants who are in early recovery take the next step by offering peer support, hope, healing and a recovery community.

Opiate addiction has reached epidemic proportions in almost every community in the United States from New England to California.  Heroin use among women has more than tripled in the past five years and now 5% of newborns are exposed to opiates before birth.  But that is not the whole story…

The Mothers and Infants Recovery Network has received a $5000 grant from the Janet T Spence Fund and the Dorothy F and George W Cahoon Fund of the Cape Cod Foundation. The funds will be used to start a new Mothers Helping Mothers support group in Harwich. Projected start date is January 2018. More information to follow.
